Brian James Wicker

South Webster-On Monday, October 1, 2018, Brian James Wicker, 48, a beloved son, brother and uncle, left us and went to be with the Lord, after a long battle with cerebral palsy. He was born May 6, 1970 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Gary and Connie Wicker of South Webster, Ohio. He is survived by his loving parents and his sister Christy (Shannon) Martin of Wheelersburg, Ohio; two nephews, Billy and Robert Martin and a niece, Lauren Martin from Wheelersburg, Ohio. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved and many had a special place in his heart. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Sarah (Horton) Wicker and Rudolph Cooper and Betty (Yarnell) Cooper, several special uncles and aunts and his faithful guardian Major. Brian was a 1992 graduate of Happy Hearts School. He was proud to be an American and he loved his Lord. He was a member of Plymouth Heights Church of the Nazarene. He was also a devoted fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, he loved to watch the Reds and the Bengals. He also leaves behind his very special friend and Christian brother, Bill Boggs, and his wonderful church family, his family at Crystal Care Center in Franklin Furnace and his Star workshop friends. He had many friends and family that loved him and he will be deeply missed, Brian had a sweet, but brave soul and a forgiving and unconditional love for all. Our hearts will forever be broken and our days will never be the same without Brian.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, October 5, 2018 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Andy Ramey officiating. Interment will follow in South Webster Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, October 4, 2018 and one hour before the service on Friday. Condolences to the family may be made at www.harrison-pyles.com.
