Edith Clarabelle Rollins

Wheelersburg-Edith Clarabelle Rollins, 80, of Wheelersburg passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 at Best Care Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg. Edith was born October 24, 1937 in Scioto Furnace, Ohio to the late Harlan and Dorothy Hilt Yeley. She was a homemaker and she was a member and former Sunday school teacher at Mt. Hope Freewill Baptist Church. Edith enjoyed writing songs about the Lord and playing the guitar at local nursing homes. In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Rollins, November 17, 1991, whom she married December 19, 1969; a brother, Charles Robert Yeley and two sisters, Edna JoAnn Yeley and Arlene Carter. Edith is survived by two sons, Harold Eugene Blair and Jerry Lee (Jamie) Blair; a daughter, Donna Blair; four grandchildren, Nathan Robbins, Luke Robbins, Tyler Thompson and Katelyn Blair and a great grandson, Lucas Edward Gill. The family would like to thank the staff at Best Care who cared for Edith the past four years.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Mike Simpson officiating. Interment will follow in Scioto Furnace Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6:00-8:00 pm Monday, October 8, 2018 and one hour before the service on Tuesday. Condolences to the family may be made at www.harrison-pyles.com.
