Willa “Billie” Jean Patton

Wheelersburg-Willa “Billie” Jean Patton, 89, of Wheelersburg passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at SOMC in Portsmouth, Ohio. Willa was born March 25, 1929 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Mack and Ida Myrtle Dillow Staggs. Willa was a Wheelersburg High School graduate, a homemaker and a member of Union Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents Willa was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Patton, September 14, 2004 whom she married May 20, 1950 at Sciotodale Freewill Baptist Church; and a sister Opal Maxine Croy. Willa is survived by four sons, Jack Michael (Patricia) Patton, Wayne (Margie) Patton, Richard Allen Patton, and Timothy Ray (Rita) Patton; three sisters, Inez Juanita Kelsey, of FL, Etta Lou Parks, of FL and Donna Joy Middaugh, OH; nine grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Chris Oiler officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 pm Saturday, December 1, 2018 and one hour before the service on Sunday.
