Cindy Kay Hatten

West Portsmouth-Cindy Kay Hatten, 61, of West Portsmouth, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018 at SOMC Hospice. Cindy was born April 26, 1957 in Portsmouth to the late Harold and Bobbie Howard Young. Cindy was a homemaker and a member of Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene. In addition to her parents Cindy was preceded in death by Steven Young. She is survived by three daughters, Jillian (Dustin) Ruth, Katie (Brian) Rogers and Halea Hatten; a sister, Stephanie Schiltz; six grandchildren, Jacob, Gabriel, Isaiah, Grace, Keaton and Sydney and her beloved dog Olive.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene in Wheelersburg with Pastor Merit Smith and Pastor Ryan Etterling officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 11:00 am until the 1:00 pm service time. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made in Cindy’s name to SOMC Hospice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg.
