Rebekah Ann Newland

WHEELERSBURG-Rebekah Ann Newland, 61, of Wheelersburg passed away Sunday, August, 16, 2020 at SOMC in Portsmouth. Rebekah was born May 8, 1959 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Robert Thrasher and Bonnie Jean Hoisington Thrasher. She was a member of Sciotoville Church of Nazarene and was active in Potters House Ministry. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Newland; a brother, James Thrasher and a sister, Pam Thrasher. Rebekah is survived by two daughters, Rachel Foglesong (Daryle) of Franklin Furnace and Bethany Thrasher of PA; a brother, Steve Thrasher (Molly) of Portsmouth and a granddaughter, Victoria.

A memorial service will be 5:00 pm Friday, August 21, 2020 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Chad Garinger officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 3:00 pm until the 5:00 pm service hour. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations be made in Rebekah's memory to Potters House Ministry.
