Keith “Moe” Mougey
FRANKLIN FURNACE-Ronald “Keith” “Moe” Mougey, 75, of Franklin Furnace, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at his home. Keith was born February 26, 1946 in Sciotoville, to the late David Mougey and Elalore Sagraves Mougey. Keith worked the coke ovens at Allied Chemical and also worked as a forklift operator at Pepsi, he attended Plymouth Heights Church of Nazarene. Keith was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam era and retired Ohio National Guard. He was very proud of his country, and loved his family and friends with all his heart. Walt, Lisa, Danielle, we can’t say thank you enough for your friendship and support. You were as much family to him as we are. In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by three brothers, Douglas, David Lee and Roger Gary Mougey. Keith is survived by his sons, Kevin (Trish) Mougey and Douglas (Andrea) Mougey; a brother, Greg (Cheryl) Mougey; his sisters, Nadine (Earl) Powell and Carol (Tom) Knapp; grandchildren, Tish, Drake, David and Mikey; three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services for Keith will be 4:00 pm Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Derek Catron officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, 2:00 pm until the 4:00 pm service. Condolences to the family may be made at www.harrison-pyles.com.
