James Francis Kirby

WHEELERSBURG-James Francis Kirby, 70, of Wheelersburg, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022 at SOMC in Portsmouth, Ohio. James was born April 28, 1952 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late John Joseph Kirby and Teresa Gertrude Filbert Kirby. James had a Master’s Degree and was a Chemical Engineer for Sunoco. He participated in Habitat for Humanity and Little League Baseball. He was of the Catholic faith. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife Betty Fauerbach Kirby. James is survived by a son, John Howard Kirby; a daughter, Ashley Sara (Patrick) Rice and two brothers, Robert “Bob” John Joseph Kirby (Cindy Darlene) and James “Jim” Howard Bricker.

Services for James will be 4:00 pm Saturday at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Deacon Terry Acox officiating. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home Saturday 2:00 pm until the 4:00 pm service. Condolences to the family may be made at www.harrison-pyles.com.
