ABERDEEN-Louise W. Selby, 101, of Aberdeen, Ohio passed away peacefully Monday, January 2, 2023 at Maysville Nursing and Re-Habilitation Facility in Maysville, KY. Louise was born July 25, 1921 in Lewis County, KY to the late Harvey Wingo and Anna Taylor Wheeler. Louise was the owner of the former Selby Shoe Company in Portsmouth and she was of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by Alice “Mom” Taylor, a grandmother who raised her. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roger A. Selby, in 1972, whom she married December 31, 1948; two sisters, Evelyn Beverly and Charlene Shepherd and a brother, Billy wheeler. Louise is survived by a sister, Phyllis Applegate; a brother, Robert (Tangela) Wheeler and several nieces and nephews, Greg Shepherd, Elaine Sammons, Beverly Gifford, Sandy Pumpelly, Lynne Shepherd, Anna Wheeler, Charlene Barnett and Alice Wheeler.

Services for Louise will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Elizabeth Smith officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.
