Milton “Dick” Earl Moore

WHEELERSBURG-Milton “Dick” Earl Moore, 90 of Wheelersburg passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 at his home. Dick was born August 29, 1932 in Scioto County to the late Jay Carl Moore and Bessie Alice Green Moore. Dick was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean conflict and a member of Wheelersburg Methodist Church. He was a Mason and member of Western Sun Lodge #91. He was employed at Texas Eastern as an Operator, Gas Transfer. In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Margaret Millhouse Moore July 9, 2015 whom he married November 21, 1956. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jack, Michael and Bill Moore; four sisters, Patty Snook, Joann Schisler, Betty Fraley and Mary Adkins and a son-in-law, William “Bill” Wright. Dick is survived by a son, Bruce (Lisa) Moore; a daughter, Pam Wright; two brothers, Otis Moore and Ronald Moore; two sisters, Wellma Pherson and Irene Lewis; two grandchildren, Alecia (Joseph) Gulley and Derek (Mari) Moore and one great grandchild, Ace Moore.

Services for Dick will be 7:00 pm Monday, May 15, 2023 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Perry Prosch officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.
