Phyllis Daugherty

Phyllis Eileen (Prescott) Daugherty, 79, of Ironton, OH, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born April 24, 1947, in Venice, FL to the late Marklin and Lucile (Crawford) Prescott. She is survived by her husband, Billy Daughtery of Ironton, OH. Phyllis worked as the Head Cashier for K-Mart for many years and she was a member of the Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Marklin Glenn Prescott and Doyle Prescott and a sister: Jeannie Werner. Along with her husband, those left to celebrate her life are a son: Marklin (Marie) Gunter; a daughter: Laticia (Johnny) Starnes; four grandchildren: Ashley Martin, Isabella Gunter, David Gunter, Haley Ducker and one great grandchild. There are no scheduled services at this time and Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.
