Charlotte Blevings

Charlotte Cotine (Allen) Blevings, 87, of Wheelersburg, OH, passed away Monday, June 15, 2026, at her residence. She was born December 31, 1938, in Lyra, OH to the late William and Opal (Loop) Allen and also preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy Jack” Blevings on January 28, 2025, after 70 years of marriage. Charlotte attended Portsmouth Schools and was a wonderful homemaker. She had a heart for helping and serve people, so she took on the job of sending cards and calling the sick and shut in for Portsmouth Church of God, where she was attending at the time and also was the youth leader of the same church. She was a member of Wheelersburg First Church of Christ and was faithful in attending till her sickness made it impossible to go and she will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Alisha Amber Tomblin. Those left to celebrate her life are two daughters: Connie (H. Lee) Tomblin and Cheryl (Vic) Justice; four grandchildren: Jamie, Heath, Jason, Tashina, thirteen great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. A funeral service will be 11:00am, Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home, 11623 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg, OH with Pastor Sam Cooke officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 10:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home. There will be a visitation, Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home.
