Richard Musser

Richard Mark Musser, 63, of Portsmouth, OH, passed away Monday, July 27, 2026, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born July 25, 1963, in Portsmouth, OH to the late Richard Lee and Virginia Lois (Jarvis) Musser and survived by his wife of 39 years, Vicki (Maynard) Musser, whom he married July 18, 1987. Richard is a 1982 graduate of Wheelersburg High School and retired from the Big Lots Warehouse in Columbus, OH, where he worked as an Auditor. He was an avid fisherman and loved taking his bass boat to several lakes around the tristate. Richard attended Waits Missionary Baptist Church, Portsmouth, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Rhonda Musser-Sparks. Along with his wife, Vicki, those left to celebrate his life are two very close buddies: Randy Boggs and Bruce Parsley; he will also be missed by his fur baby, that he dearly loved: Boomer. A funeral service will be 12:00pm, Friday, July 31, 2026, at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home, 11623 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg, OH with Pastor Brent Saxton officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Burial Park, Wheelersburg, OH. Visitation will be 11:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
