Christopher Meinhart
1962 - 2026

Christopher Meinhart, 64, of Franklin Furnace, OH, passed away Friday, September 25, 2026, at SOMC Hospice Center. He was born February 20, 1962, in Marion, OH to the late Sid and Eulane (Ison) Meinhart. Christopher was a graduate of Green Township High School and was part of the schools marching band. He was the Dispatcher for Green Township and for many years was a member of the Green Township Volunteer Fire Department. Christopher was known by everybody in the Furnace and well-liked by everyone that knew him. He was a member of Plymouth Heights Nazarene Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles. Those left to celebrate his life are a sister; Rachel Meinhart an aunt; Betty Murray and an uncle; Ershel Borders. A funeral service will be 1:00pm, Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Ramey officiating. Burial will follow in Junior Furnace Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
