Rose Mason
1950 - 2025
Rose Ann Mason, 74, of Wheelersburg, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025 at her residence. She was born November 27, 1950 in Fairmont, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Larry and Anna (Greene) Frank. Rose was an assistant manager at Belk, was a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church and Women’s Guild at the church.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, William Mason; two sons, Dr. William Howard Mason, II, Dr. Robert Nicholas (Stephanie) Mason; one daughter, Rae Ann (Michael, Jr.) Johnson; three grandchildren, Landon Mason, Maddox Mason, Valentina Rose Johnson, and one sister, Rita Frank. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby Frank, Nick Frank, Larry Frank, and two sisters, Betty Priester, and Renee Paknik.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 18, 2025 at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church with Father Smith officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter in Chains Cemetery. Visitation will be at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday with recital of the rosary at 8pm. Condolences may be sent to www.harrison-pyles.com.

A Friend of Rose Ann’s at Farmington High School from 7th thru 12th grades in Farmington, WV. She was always so kind and beautiful. I lived in Idamay. We graduated in the Class of 1968. There were about 78 kids in our class, and we knew each other well. I was so saddened to learn of Rose Ann’s passing from this Life. Hope we will meet again someday in Heaven.
