Jane Arnett
1945 - 2026

On Tuesday, September 8, 2026, Jane Arlene Arnett, loving wife, mother,

grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, passed

away at the age of 81. Jane was born on July 24, 1945 in Portsmouth

Ohio. On August 5th, 1961, she married Pat Arnett. They raised six

children, Debbie (Lloyd) Moore, Sherry (Curt) Hankinson, Patty (Phil)

Cromer, Greg (Joanna) Arnett, Dan (Amy) Arnett and Jeff (Cyndi)

Arnett. Jane was an avid household cleaner, loved going to Amish

Country, a respected Christian, she was an amazing cook and friend.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents Minnie Abdon and John Carpenter, her husband Pat, her son

Greg, her brother Charles and sisters Judy and Eleanor. Jane is survived by 5 children, her brother

Everett, her sisters Margaret and Jill as well as eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren,

two great great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and extended family members.

The family would like to thank her grandchildren Christian and Renee Moore for their dedication to

Jane in her final years.

Visitation will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm with funeral services at 1:00pm Friday, September 11, 2026

at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Blaine Etterling officiating. Interment

will follow at Pine Creek/Clapboard Cemetery
